CHEMFILM DF1100 is a multilayer cast PTFE film, fully fused, with one surface modified to render it receptive to many conventional adhesives, elastomers, resins and potting compounds. The surface treatment was developed to assure that its application over pure PTFE would not degrade or discolor the basic film. After surface treatment, the PTFE film loses none of its excellent physical and electrical characteristics. CHEMFILM DF1200 is DF1100 laminated to 2 mils of acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive.
CHEMFILM DF1400 and DF1471 are anti-static, conductive films. CHEMFILM DF1400 is multilayer cast PTFE film with a non-conductive, fully-fused PTFE core and a conductive fluoropolymer formulation on both surfaces of the film. CHEMFILM DF1471 is a multilayer cast PTFE that is fully conductive between both surfaces of the film.
CHEMFILM DF1700 and DF1900 are heat bondable multilayer cast fluoropolymer films. These films have a PTFE core with a thin layer of FEP or PFA on one surface that enables heat bonding. Double side bondable (DB) films are also available with PFA on either surface; or FEP on one surface and PFA on the other.
CHEMFILM MR films, or mold release films, for composite molding combine the chemical inertness and universal non-stick properties of PTFE polymers with maximum conformability and heat resistance. Available as MR1 (.001” thick) and MR2 (.002”) thick and in blue, purple, red, white or natural colors.
CHEMFILM VB films, or vacuum bagging films, offer an ultra-high temperature, maximally conformable vacuum bagging film for extreme composite molding application such as high temperature resin curing systems. VB3 is bondable on one side to enable taping and sealing while the other wise retains the excellent release characteristic of PTFE. VB3 is .003” thick and available in natural and green colors.
