Insulation Blankets

NORFILM™ Engineered Films provides high performance coatings and laminations on advanced substrates to create lightweight and strong insulation jacketing for modern aircraft and previous generation aircraft.

Turbine Gaskets

turbine-gasket-filmsZitex porous PTFE has the controlled density and mechanical properties to meet industry requirements for use in aircraft engine seal applications. The product is available in roll form and is produced to custom dimensional requirements up to a maximum thickness of 0.250 inch (6.35mm) and a maximum width of 7 inches (178mm). Custom cross sectional profiles are available through special quotation. The surface porosity of Zitex allows for the adhesive bonding of the product to substrate components. Chemical etching surface treatment is also available to facilitate enhanced adhesive bonding.

Composite Molding

Up to 50% of next generation aircraft are made of these advanced composites. Saint-Gobain manufactures process films and tape that make composite molding structures possible.
